The week before half term all 56 girls from Year 6 embarked upon their Cricket & Culture Tour of Jersey!
The girls were so excited and arrived at school in their bright pink tour T shirts. We spent the morning at school honing our cricket skills before heading off to Heathrow for our very quick flight to the beautiful island of Jersey.
We arrived at the Merton hotel, found our rooms, unpacked and headed down for a delicious supper. Evening Entertainment took place each night in Dante’s and the girls enjoyed a series of games, quizzes, dance-offs and of course the last night DISCO!
We were blessed with wonderful sunshine and the activities enjoyed included swimming in the hotel leisure pool, 3 cricket fixtures, lunches on the beach, Stand-up-Paddle Boarding at St Brelade’s Bay, a visit to the famous War Tunnels and a morning at the stunning Durrell Wildlife Centre.
Year 6 were an absolute credit to take away and we are all so proud of each and every one of them!
