U13 Surrey Cup Match v Surbiton High
U13 Football team had a fantastic fixture against Surbiton in the Surrey Cup- unfortunately it was just not our day. We peppered their goal throughout the match- coming close on numerous occasions. We finally scored 5 minutes into the second half but got caught on the break quickly after. Whilst going for the win we were left exposed and unfortunately lost 3-1. The team fought for each other throughout the game and I was extremely proud of their work rate and commitment to the team. We are still in the Schools FA Cup and looking forward to seeing how we go in the league.

Netball
U14 v SWP
On Wednesday U14 netball matches were played against Sir William Perkin’s. The A, B + C teams were all in action and some good matches were contested.
C Team
The C team were involved in a very close and competitive game and the team worked hard in all areas of the court, the final result was a 5-5 draw; Elodie C was voted Player of the Match by the opposition but congratulations to everyone who played:
Robyn G (Captain), Aimee M, Charlotte S, Millie H, Ariella G, Sadeeqa S, Elodie C.
B Team
A very competitive game by our U14 B team saw them take the match 10 – 8 in a highly contested event in which all players took to the court and contributed to the win. The team were 4 – 6 down at half time but had a very good third quarter to go into the final period up 9-8. Tight play by both teams kept opportunities on goal to the very minimum but it was Notre Dame that did get a goal and ended with a win 10- 8.
The opposition awarded their Most Valuable Player to Bella M.
Poppy S (captain), Bea C, Jemima B, Lucy D, Khushi J, Lucy M, Bella M, Valentina SF (vice capt), Scarlett T, Niamh G
A Team
A good performance was given by the A team, they played well together despite not having their regular GA, which meant that some of the Girls had to play out of position. Julia M stepped in as GA for the Match and gave a great performance, Luella W stepped up as GD and managed to help keep the opposition goals to a minimum. The game was closely fought with the A Team levelling the game by the third Quarter, the final score does not reflect the team’s performance, they worked hard as a team right to the final whistle.
