Inter-Squad Gala
On Tuesday 6th June was the Inter-squad Swimming Gala, we had 42 girls competing including 12 year 2 girls. We witnessed some really exciting races. 100 new records were set, so this shows how well the girls were swimming.
All of the photos have been uploaded to Firefly and can be seen by clicking on the collage above
Some of the improvements were astonishing, especially from some of the year 2 swimmers.
I would just like to highlight 4 examples.
Sienna S (Y2)– Front Crawl previous best time 40.20 – on the night 27.37
Estella M (Y2)– Front Crawl Previous best time 51.99 – on the night 38.38
Lucy B (Y5) – Front Crawl Previous Best 19.48 – on the night 17.68
Olivia T (Y3) – Front Crawl Previous Best 19.11 – on the night 18.15 Gold Standard
These improvements are amazing.
Below is a table showing who has set new records and in what stroke. All these new records are so impressive and this is one of the reasons we hold this event each year because the girls consistently produce their best times at this event. Girls if you would like to know your times please let me have your planners and I will update them.
