Mrs Purgavie – Surrey Lady Stoolball Team
Mrs Purgavie played her first Over 30s Surrey StoolBall match last weekend. Although the Surrey team didn’t win, there was some fantastic play and it all came down to the last over.
Cricket
Martha and Georgia played for Weybridge Cricket Club girls U9 team last weekend.
They took part in this Leg of the ‘Surrey Smash’ and had tremendous success.
They won 2 games and narrowly lost 1.
They beat East Mosley B team and Māori Oxshot
and a very close game against East Mosley A team meant a loss. The points were all counted up and Weybridge move on to the next round.
The girls skills and confidence is growing each week and we are hoping by the end of the season to see some phenomenal cricket.
