Welcome back!
It has been a joyous first week and a bit back at school, with the girls enjoying their cricket and athletics.
I would like to remind all parents and pupils we have a no jewellery policy in all PE and swimming lessons. The girls need to come to lesson prepared for all weathers. During the month of May we often experience all seasons.
We look forward to a fun and hopefully sunny summer term.
ERPSSA District Cross Country Event
On Saturday Notre Dame hosted the district cross country event. Over 300 children took part in the girls and boys U9, U10 and U11 races. Huge thanks to the ND staff who helped to steward this event and of course to Mrs Purgavie who ran it so brilliantly!
Results for TeamND:
The U10 and U11 XC teams came second overall in the ERPSSA event!
Walton Cricket Club League Night 1
On Monday evening we played our first matches in the Walton Cricket Club League against Esher Church School and Cleves. This league is a mixed event, with all schools except Notre Dame playing boys and girls in their squads. The ND girls put on great performances against both schools and although we lost our opening 2 matches there are still 6 more to play and plenty to work on develop throughout the term. Well done to all 8 girls who represented the school, bowled wickets and score runs for the team.
