Hockey
Hockey matches have been played against Sir William Perkin’s this week.
U16 Hockey v SWP
On Monday the U16 team played well in their game and created some good opportunities but were denied by some resolute defending and goalkeeping and it was SWP who won 4-0.
On Wednesday the U14 team were in action in an exciting end-to-end game, with both teams pressing forward and displaying good skills and passing. The SWP goalkeeper pulled off some fantastic saves despite a lot of pressure from ND and the final result was a 2-0 win for SWP.
Congratulations to everyone who played in both age groups, great to see a good standard of hockey being played.
Netball
Year 7 girls played some fantastic netball today and came 4th in their District Netball Tournament! Well played all!
U13 A & b v Manor House
The U13 A and B Netball teams played very well against Manor House on Wednesday this week with some really close games.
The ‘A’ lost but the B’s won 14-8.
Walton Firs
A new Year 8 group enjoyed their afternoon up at Walton Firs this week. Great teamwork on display from Team GB and Team Canada!

Swimming – SSSA Championships
Congratulations to the following girls who achieved great results at the Surrey Schools’ Swimming Association Championships last week.
Ella H had some excellent results she is the U12 girls Butterfly and Freestyle Champion! The two relay teams Ella swam in were also gold medal winning races for U13 so she swam up an age group in these!
Serena is not a sprinter and last week-end there were only 50m races. She did not get a medal but she had great pbs arriving 10th in 50 butterfly and 12th in backstroke.
Lucy had a storming day yesterday. She is now the girls U12 50m Surrey champion in backstroke. She also gained a bronze in the 50m butterfly having been seeded 14th!!
Lexi T achieved Golds in the Freestyle and Medley relays with Lexi swimming amazing time of 28.53 on her free leg. Silver in the Freestyle sprint…
Alice A who came 3rd in the U16 Inter Girls Free and Sophie K who was 1st in the Inter Girls Breast Stroke.
Darcy L had a lot of fun and won a gold and two silver medals – all in the relays. Great experience being able to race at such an awesome venue.
