Year 2 Hockey v Feltonfleet
The Year 2 girls played their first hockey matches last Friday against Feltonfleet. It was a great morning of hockey from both schools and great to see all girls enjoying their sport. The Notre Dame girls scored lots of goals, showed off their ball carrying skills and also enjoyed the croissant after the match. We look forward to going back to FF in the Spring for the girls first netball matches
U10 Hockey v St George’s
Saturday 13th November saw our first Saturday fixture of the term, with the U10A and B hockey teams playing St George’s. It was a great display of hockey from both schools. The Notre Dame teams won both matches, final results were; A team won 1-0 B team won 1-0.
U10 Hockey v Tormead
On Monday this week we hosted an U10 fixture against Tormead School. For most of the Notre Dame team it was the girls’ first match and they enjoyed the opportunity to represent the school. It was great to see these girls gaining match experience and enjoying their hockey.
Inter House Hockey
The Yr6 girls started their inter house hockey competition this week, with the cup tournament. Well done to Richard House who won over all.
Cross Country Relays
Monday afternoon also saw the return of the cross country events for Notre Dame. We had 108 children running from Cleves, Burhill and St Charles on our new Cross Country Track. The event asked the children to run as a team of 6 to all complete 1 lap of the track. As we have said so much this term, it was great to see the children back enjoying competition and also enjoying their running.
Swimming
ND v St Teresas
Congratulations to Team ND who all swam so well last night and I’m sure many PBS were set!
We won 116 – 94 against St Teresa’s.
Special thanks to the swim captains Alex and Campbell who did a great job, getting the swimmers to the correct races and encouraging the team.
We cannot wait to get parents back in to watch! Many thanks to Mrs Westwood, Mrs Petzer, Miss Golding for stepping in to help.

Reminder that Yr3&4 Netball/ Hockey Club will not take place on Monday 22nd November, due to a number of sporting fixtures.
