U8/9 Hockey with Halstead
On Monday we had a lovely evening of hockey with Halstead. We played ‘Queen of the Hill’ where the winning team moves up to the next pitch and the team that lost moves down. The girls played 30minutes of non-stop hockey and WOW did we see some fantastic skill. It was great to see the girls using all those skills learnt last half term and working will with girls from another school. It was a great way to kick off our half term of sport!
U11A-C v Feltonfleet
The U11A-C teams played against Feltonfleet on Tuesday afternoon and like the match on Monday the girls showed a very high level of skill, carrying the ball with speed down the pitch and using their reverse stick. It was a wonderful display of their skill and they got a great set of results. Well done to the A and C teams who won their matches. The B team unfortunately lost their match.
U11 Netball v Westward
The U11 girls played in a match against Westward School on Wednesday this week. It was Westward’s first netball match since March 2020 and what a lovely match to get the girls back playing competitive sport. We played this match indoors, which always creates a very exciting atmosphere.
Well done to the ND team who won both their matches and to Ella N and Holly H for being voted players of the match. The B team won 7-1 and the A team won 7-2.
Half Term 1km Running Challenge Results
Well done to all those girls who took part in the 1km Running Challenge, we have just over 50 girls take part and there were plenty of HP awarded. These are the house totals for the competition, well done to Jeanne who had the most runners taking part and so many in Jeanne beat my 1km time of 5:19min.

Club Changes
On Monday afternoon the Year 3 and 4 girls Hockey club will now become Netball Club
On Tuesday afternoon the Year 5 and 6 girls will alternate between netball and hockey.

ND Girls Enjoy Surbiton Hockey
There was a Surbiton Hockey club tournament match against Merton, Haslemere and another external club this weekend – the Robins Surbiton hockey team U12 won first prize – and had three Notre Dame girls in it that collected the Halloween cup (!) with medals – Elisabetta, Chloe and Charis.
A lovely win for Surbiton and Notre Dame hockey girls!
