Our Year 3 and 4 STEM Club had a fantastic time making paper helicopters, slingshots, and exploring Incredi-bubbles! Led by Kirsten Christensen-Jeffries, the girls learned how microbubbles, with outer shells of fat or protein, help doctors take detailed images of blood flow. This hands-on experience sparked excitement and curiosity about science and technology. More adventures await our young scientists!
Year 6 Science - The Digestive System
Year 6 had an engaging science lesson on the digestive system, learning how our bodies absorb water and nutrients. The highlight was using Virtual T-shirts, which made exploring the digestive process interactive and fun. Girls enjoyed visualising how their bodies break down food and extract essential nutrients, making the lesson both educational and entertaining.
