National Prep Schools Athletics Finals
On Wednesday, Emily L (Y6) headed off to Birmingham to compete in the National Prep Schools Athletics Finals at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham.
She actually qualified for three events but was only allowed to compete in two so she chose hurdles and sprint. Emily made it to both finals in these events and performed brilliantly!
Final National Results for Emily:
70m hurdles – 5th
100m sprint – 6th
This is a phenomenal result for Emily and we know it is only the beginning of a very promising athletics career! Big thanks to Madison Hutton (heptathlete at Fresno State California) who kindly gave her a master class session at the beginning of the week to prepare her for this big event!
