Yesterday we celebrated the successes of our fabulous Year 11 students, who have achieved an impressive set of GCSE results with over 30% of all grades at 8 or 9 (A* equivalent), which is over 5% more than last year.
19 students gained nine or more grade 7 and above (equivalent of A/A*) and over half of all grades achieved were 7 – 9 (A*/ A equivalent).
Families discovered their grades within the garden of our Sixth Form (ND6), where many of them will continue their educational journey at the top of the School.
Students were overjoyed stating;
“I am so happy. I can’t wait for my next chapter to begin in ND6”
“I feel incredibly lucky to have had the support of our wonderful teachers.”
Mrs Anna King, Senior School Headmistress said:
“Congratulations to our students in Year 11 for their outstanding achievements, which have been recognised today through an exceptional set of GCSE results. We are proud of each and every one of them for their hard work and resilience throughout their time at Notre Dame. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for these bright and confident young adults. Thank you to all of our staff and parents for supporting the students and our School.”
