National Biathlon Qualifier Round up
On Sunday 33 girls from year 3- 6th form and even teachers (Mrs Purgavie!), took part in the National Schools Biathlon Qualifier, hosted by Downsend and Notre Dame. It was a great morning of sport for the girls, all of whom gave 100% in both their swimming and running.
We now wait for December/ January to see who has qualified for the National Finals in March.
Hockey
U10 Tournament at Rowan
Last Saturday the U10 girls played in the Rowan Hockey Tournament. They had a tough draw with all 4 of their games back-to-back, however this didn’t stop them from giving their all.
Well done to all those who represented the school. The girls finished 4th overall.
U8 Hockey Skills Session
The Year 3 girls took part in a fun skills session with Downsend on Friday. Making new friends and continuing to work on their hockey skills, leading up to their first matches.
U8 v Milbourne Lodge
Well-done to the Year 3 girls who played in the match against Milbourne Lodge on Thursday. It was a thrilling match, where the girls put into practice all the skills they have learnt over the half term.
Cross Country
Inter House XC events this week
Year 5
Year 5 competed in the Inter House Cross Country Event this week. They ran 1.8km in the School’s grounds, thankfully avoiding any rain showers. Well done to our top 3 runners and to all the girls who took part and earned House Points.
