The Science Ambassadors had an amazing time in our new Innovation Space during a fun-filled photoshoot! Surrounded by cutting-edge equipment and creative displays, the girls were excited to showcase their passion for science in this inspiring environment. It was a fantastic way to celebrate their role as ambassadors, highlighting their enthusiasm and the experiments they’ve been working on.
On Monday, Exotic Explorers visited our school, giving the girls an unforgettable hands-on learning experience with an array of fascinating animals! Along with an American Kestrel, bearded dragon, and chinchilla, the girls also got to meet owls, a boa constrictor, giant millipedes, rainforest frogs, a hedgehog, and even skunks. Each animal provided a unique learning opportunity, as they discovered interesting facts about their habitats, behaviours, and special adaptations. It was an incredible day that sparked curiosity and excitement for wildlife and the natural world!
In Year 4 STEM Club, the girls had an explosive time experimenting with Coca-Cola and Mentos rockets! They learned about chemical reactions and gas production as they launched their own fizzy rockets, observing how the combination of carbonated soda and Mentos mints creates a powerful eruption. The activity was a thrilling way for the girls to explore scientific concepts in action!
