Hockey

U10 and U11 B Downsend Hockey Tournament.

Mrs. Tomlinson attended the Downsend hockey tournament on Saturday with the U10 and U11B teams. It was a great morning of hockey, particularly well done to the U11B second overall.

U11 Surrey Tournament

On Tuesday, the 12th of November Notre Dame hosted the Surrey U11 Hockey Tournament. The ND girls gave a good fight in a tough tournament, they showed grit and determination in all matches. Well done to Ambar for her excellent goal keeping skills. Although the girls weren’t in medal contention, they showed great progression throughout the tournament and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

They also met Team GB and England Player Flora Peel who came to present the medals and trophies.

Gymnastics

IAPS Gymnastics Championships

Well done to the U9, U10 and U11 girls who represented the school at the IAPS Gymnastics Championships on Saturday. They all had great personal performances and gained a huge amount of experience, as for most of the girls this was their first gymnastics event. We had some excellent scores on the floor and vault.

The U9 Team finished 6th overall, with Theia Routley our highest placed individual 15th out of 45

The U10 Team finished 5th overall, with Annabel placing 4th out of 36, only missing out on a medal by .05points!

The U 11 Team finished 11th over all with Claudia placing 38 out of 61.

We look forward to the next event ISGA Championships on Sunday 24th November.

Cross Country

ERPSSA XC Relays

On Monday, the 11th of November, Saint James, Saint Charles, Grovelands and Cleves brought their U10 and U11 boys and girls for the cross-country relays event.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon for cross country, and we had some very exciting races!

The ND girls finished 2nd in the U11 girls’ race and 3rd in the U10 girls’ race. It was a great afternoon, enjoyed by all!

Last weekend, Theia took part in the first fixture of the Border League cross country series. The League features ten athletic clubs from Surrey, who take part in 4 races over the season. Running in Stoke Park, Theia was pleased to have finished in second place in a closely fought contest. Her athletics club took home the top three places for the home fixture. Their next race is in Maidenhead in December.
