Model United Nations Day at Benenden School

On Monday 2 December the Model United Nations Sixth Form team spent the day at Benenden School along with 20 other local schools in a Model United Nations Meeting.

Our team was representing Argentina and had researched and prepared ready to represent Argentina on the UN Environment Council, the UN Economic and Finance Council, the Committee of UN Women and the Human Rights Council.

They spent the day putting Argentina’s point of view forward and discussing and debating a final UN resolution within each council.

The girls were buzzing when they left and can’t wait for another opportunity to pitch their thoughts and ideas at another Model UN.
