On Wednesday 5th February, Year 11 enjoyed an afternoon of poetry in the Montaigne Theatre.
Hosting the event was Mr Mac, our resident poet, who performed some of his own poems whilst bringing to life the form for the students. We even had a little bit of Taylor Swift in there! A series of lectures were given by members of the department in readiness for their GCSE Literature examinations, where we looked at how to analyse poetry. A fabulous time was had by all and we know the girls hugely benefitted from the enrichment event.
