This week 17 GCSE Art students from Year 10 visited the beautiful gardens at Wisley, which were bathed in winter sunshine!
I really enjoyed the art trip to Wisley, I think that the large and flourishing gardens were really useful in helping to develop my understanding and perspectives of natural forms and will be extremely beneficial going into our next project (Natural forms).
There were many opportunities to take pictures and make sketches which will be valuable in our Natural forms topic as we will be able to use them for many different pieces. It was also very nice to be able to see various types of horticulture and this will definitely help with the transition from our Portraiture topic into the Natural forms topic we are approaching.
