Simon Frost joined the Governing Body in September 2017, became Vice Chair of Governors in June 2021 and Chair of Governors in June 2024.
He continues to run his own property company, Millbrook Land, specialising in the retail, care and residential sectors and is a former member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Mr Frost is a keen sailor and has a yacht based on the River Hamble near Southampton. His life long love of sailing started with the Ocean Youth Club, a sail training charity that took mostly youngsters between the ages of 15 and 21 of all backgrounds to sea. He started as a crew member and ended up as a full time skipper of one of their 72’ ketches in the days before the advent of the GPS. He also enjoys playing golf albeit rather erratically.
He has two daughters, both of whom attended Notre Dame.
