Our adventure began with a beautiful sunny morning as we departed for Munich.
The excitement was evident as we landed safely and boarded our coach to Alpendorf, Austria. Upon arrival, we were greeted by falling snow. Despite feeling tired, we grabbed our boots and skis in record time before heading for dinner at our hotel.
The first few days brought heavy snowfall, with a fresh 80cm blanketing the slopes. Although visibility was poor, the instructors anticipated superb conditions as it lifted. By day four, our patience was rewarded as the clouds parted, revealing clear blue skies and pristine powder. Snowslippers declared it the best skiing conditions of the season, and we couldn’t agree more.
Speed traps, tumbles, slalom races were all par for the course.
The trip was filled with unforgettable moments, from exhilarating runs down the slopes to fun in the evening. Highlights included the thrilling and somewhat terrifying toboggan run and the fun-filled Austrian bowling night. The teachers won by the way!
It was a fantastic trip with everyone having a thoroughly enjoyable time. We can’t wait for our next adventure!
