This morning our talented Prep Dance Team stepped onto the Montaigne Theatre stage to showcase their ERPSSA Dance to the whole Prep School!
The theme for this year’s event was DETERMINTATION.
Notre Dame’s entry was entitled Unseen Strength:
Our dance for the competition, themed around determination, was inspired by Chris McCausland, the 2024 winner of Strictly Come Dancing and the first blind contestant to win the show. The performance symbolised the immense challenges Chris faced and how, with the unwavering support of his dance partner, he triumphed against all odds. To authentically capture this spirit, our solo dancer, Eva, learned the entire choreography blindfolded, giving her a glimpse into the experience of dancing without sight. The dance is a tribute to resilience, partnership, and the incredible power of determination.
