National Schools Biathlon Round Up

Well-done to the 11 girls who took part in the National Schools Biathlon on Sunday 23rd March.

Over 900 athletes from more than 260 schools competed at the finals, celebrating the dedication, talent and achievements of all our finalists.

It is always very exciting to be at this event and for the girls to have qualified over hundreds of those who took part in the Regional Events, is a great achievement.

Mrs Purgavie took part in the teachers event this year, meaning we had Year 3-12 plus a teacher taking part in the event.

A special well done to Theia who won the Year 4 girls’ category!

Netball

U9 Netball v Milbourne Lodge

Well-done to the U9 girls, who finished off their netball season, with a great set of matches against Milbourne.

We have been so proud of the girls and how they have progressed this term both in their skills and understanding of the game.

Inter-House Netball

Over the past few weeks Years 4, 5 and 6 have been taking part in the Inter-House netball tournaments, which has been thrilling to umpire. The girls have shown great house spirit throughout. Congratulations to all the girls for playing, you have all shown great progress this term and it was a wonderful way to finish the netball season.

Hockey

U11 Hockey v Tormead

Well-done to the U11A and B teams who played Hockey against Tormead on Tuesday evening, this was a one-off match for this term, and it was brilliant to see them retaining everything they learnt last term. The A team drew 2-2 and the B team won 6-0.

Equestrian

Last weekend Lucy represented Notre Dame at the BS Just for Schools Winter Championships. She came 11th in the 70cm Final and 6th in the 80cm Final with Taboo.

This week the girls in Year 6 carried out their personal survival assessments!
