Year 6 v Year 7 Hockey Match
On Tuesday our Year 6 girls had a training match against year 7, in preparation for their IAPS tournament in a few weeks. Thank-you to Mrs Jelley for helping to arrange this. It was a competitive match and allowed the Year 6’s to work on their strategic play as well as continuing to develop their skills.

Kit
Another reminder that the girls need to have their left handed hockey glove, shin pads and mouthguard at all PE/ Games lessons.
As the fixtures start, they will not be able to play without these items.
All girls need to bring their waterproof jacket to lessons, as the weather is now very changeable.
Events next week
We have some big events taking place next week, which include the first gala of the year, cross country, hockey matches/ tournaments and the National Biathlon qualifier on Sunday. Best of luck to all the girls representing the school next week.
After School Clubs
A huge benefit of being a through school from Prep to Seniors is our ability to have such wonderful role models coaching our younger girls. Every Tuesday we are lucky to have 2 excellent members of sixth form, who both happen to be very good hockey players, who come along to coach the Year 5 and 6 hockey club girls. They have such a huge impact on our younger girls and we cannot thank them both enough for giving up their valuable time! Thank you Charlotte and Tilly!
