Year 7 Poetry Project
Last term students in Year 7 completed some amazing Poetry Projects – many of which are now on display in the Senior School Library.
As part of the project, they explored different types of poetry; learnt to recognise literary devices; created an anthology of their favourite poems and finally wrote their own poem. Some of the very creative winning entries can be seen on Firefly by clicking on the link below.
Due to the very high standard of entries – there were 11 winners and 21 runners-up (judged by class). Prizes were awarded during Year assembly this week and the overall Year 7 winner was Annie C for this very clever flower design.
