During the Christmas holidays, students in Years 7 -9 are given set holiday reading. The titles are chosen by the English Department/Librarian and may differ from the usual choice/genre of books. The aim of the reading scheme is to encourage wider reading and promote the idea of reading for fun. Students will also be expected to write a 2 page book review (template on Firefly/Senior Library) which will help to further develop analytical and creative writing skills and to think evaluatively.
