U16 Cup Final at Tonbridge

Team ND had some very close matches in the Regional Cup Final this week, losing one match and drawing the rest to come 3rd overall. They came 4th overall which was a fantastic achievement!

U13 Tournament at Tormead

U13 A Team - Hockey

The U13 Hockey Team had a fantastic tournament on Monday at Tormead.

We had KGS, Daneshill and Farnborough in our group.

We won our first two group games against Kingston and Farnborough and drew 0-0 with Daneshill.

This meant we progressed top of our group into the Cup.

Unfortunately we lost in the last minute of the semi-final to St Teresa’s. This meant we were in the 3rd/4th play off against Priorsfield.

The team won and came 3rd overall – only conceding 1 goal the whole tournament!

A great day for the the U13 hockey team!

Goal Keeping Training with Jess Buchanan

Our Goal Keepers had a great final session with Team GB and Scottish International GK Jess Buchanan this week. They continued to work on their footwork and diving saves.
You can watch some of their drills on our Sports Instagram account:

Netball

U15 A – C netball v St Cat’s

A Team

A very convincing win for the A team, 21-7 in which the whole squad played the best netball I have seen them do to date! A really good performance with great team spirit and such a positive approach. Congratulations to all the team.
Most Valuable Players as voted by the opposition were Julia Mc and Esther J.

B Team

The only difference between Notre Dame and St Cat’s was that the visitors got a slightly better start than us in the first quarter where they went 3 up. Notre Dame fought back hard and secured a draw over the next 3 quarters but unfortunately couldn’t quite claw back the 3 deficit. However, again the whole team played really well with all the squad taking the court.
MVP’s were Khushi K and Evelyn B.

C Team

With only 7 players, the C team played really well for the whole match and came away with a win 6-4. They showed determination and teamwork throughout.
MVP’s were Isla G and Daisy RM.

Overall, this was a very good performance by our Year 10’s, one they all should be very proud of!
