Congratulations to all those girls who made their first Holy Communion in school on Friday 28 July, and congratulations to the whole of Year 5 who wrote and performed their own Cantata especially for the occasion. The piece was entitled ‘The Last Supper Cantata’ and was made up of two songs, the first called ‘Jesus is Troubled’ by 5T and the second ‘The Lord’s Supper’ by 5W. Many thanks to all the Infant Music Ensemble tutors for their hard work in preparing the Infant musicians for their soirée. We were sad to have to cancel this concert, but each of the groups has recorded their performance pieces with their teacher, enabling us to share this virtual Soirée with you all.
