Virtual Cross Country Competition
This half term the girls in Year 3-6 took part in a virtual cross country competition. 17 other schools in our area took part, running either 1.5km or 2.0km depending on the girl’s age group. There were a staggering 1561 children who took part and submitted their times.
Well done to all the girls who represented the school. Class teachers will have shared the girl’s results with them this week, but I wanted a special mention to the following girls who were the first Notre Dame girls to finish:
Ivy from Year 3 who finished 8th out of 161 girls
Aleksandra from year 4 who finished 14th out of 203 girls
Campbell B from Year 5 who finished 2nd out of 199 girls
Ella H from Year 6 who finish 8th out of 146 girls
Inter House Steps Challenge
From the 30th November until the 4th December, all girls from reception to Year 6 have been ‘stepping’ through their days as part of the inter house steps challenge. All the houses earnt a respectable amount of steps but a very well done to Michel house for winning the overall competition.

Inter House Quiz house winner
This week the girls have taken part in an Inter House Christmas quiz, written by the Year 6 swimming and games captains. The girl’s earnt 2HP for every correct answer, well done to all the girls who took part and got questions correct for their house.

Yr3 kicked off their games afternoon with Christmas cracker relay!
Swimming
Well done to all the girls who took part in the Virtual swimming Galas over the last two weeks.
I think all the girls really enjoyed taking part, it was lovely to see the excitement in the pool.
We have had the results in from St Teresa’s who also sent a lovely Good Luck Video from their swimmers wishing us good luck which was really nice to see.

Danes Hill have also sent in the results of their Virtual Gala. They have only advised the winners of each race but it looks like Notre Dame did really well winning the following races:-
