Year 2 Netball v Feltonfleet
On Friday 4th February the U7 girls went to play their first netball match against Feltonfleet. It wasn’t ideal conditions but the girls showed great resilience as well as wonderful netball skills. Mr Mannering and I are so proud of the girl’s skills and teamwork. Despite the cold and the light rain the girls shone on the court.
U11 IAPS
On Monday the U11 girls went to take part in the IAPS Netball tournament at Cranleigh, which was their very first tournament since Year 4 due to the pandemic. The girls played brilliant netball throughout and some of the best netball they have ever played but unfortunately we were beaten by the better teams and were knocked out in the first round of the knockouts. Although the girls will be disappointed I am so proud of how they played as a team and throughout the tournament their netball got better and better! Well played to all 9 girls in their first BEE Netball tournament.
U8 v GHS
Monday 7th February saw our U8 girls with the help of a few Year 2 girls travel to GHS for some friendly netball matches. All the girls in Year 3 have shown such great development in the skills and understanding of BEE Netball and it was wonderful to see it on display tonight. This was the first full match for the Year 2 girls and they took it in their stride, learning so much about the game and showing determination to work hard! Well played to all the girls.
U9 v LEH
The U9 girls visited LEH on Tuesday to play their very first 7 aside netball match. It was a very exciting set of matches, with some wonderful goals being scored as well as excellent skills being put on show. Well done to the ND girls who played very well, working together as a team and enjoying every minute.
U11 A-E v Downsend
Thank you to Downsend for bringing 5 netball teams to play BEE Netball on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many girls out enjoying their netball. We lost 4 out of the 5 matches, with very close score lines. A huge well done to the E team who won their match 9-1!
Hockey
U8 v Tormead
On Monday Year 3 took part in some small sided hockey matches against Tormead, with the help of a few Year 2 girls.
Year 3 Hockey v Twickenham Prep
Thank you to TWPS for a wonderful afternoon of Year 3 hockey. This was TWPS first hockey match and the first for the ND girls on this year. The games were very exciting with lots of goals being scored from both schools. We are so proud of the girls for remember the skills they learnt last term and their ability to work together as a team.
U11 v Downsend
Well done to these girls (minus one who had to rush off to ballet!), a great hockey match against Downsend to end their half term!
