U10A Hockey Tournament at Rowan
U10A Team played fantastic hockey at the Rowan Tournament last weekend, finishing 2nd place on goal difference! a HUGE well done to the girls and thank you to Mrs T for supporting them through the morning!
Netball
U10B Netball Tournament at Downsend
Well played to the ND girls at the Downsend U10B Netball tournament today. They finished 6th overall and had some very close games, a mixture of wins, draws and losses from across the morning.
Year 3 Netball Tournament at Tormead
On Friday 4th March the U8 girls travelled to play Tormead at netball. It was a very exciting afternoon netball, with very close games! Both schools showed excellent skills and understanding of the game. The ND A team lost 2-3 and the B team won 1-0. Well played to all girls, who have all shown show much improvement since the start of the term.
U9 Netball v Westward
Well done to the U9 girls who played Westward on a chilly Tuesday afternoon. The ND girls won 1 match and lost 1 match with Naya and Frida voted players of their respective matches. The girls have shown so much improvement over the course of the term, it has been wonderful to watch their development.
U10A-D Netball v Tormead
On Tuesday Tormead visited us with their Year 5 girls to play netball. The ND girls throughout the term and their matches showed a huge amount of progression, working well as a team and applying skills learnt in lessons to competitive matches. Well done to all those girls who represented the school and a particular well done to these girls who were voted players of their respective matches; Holly, Florrie, Heidi and Eliana. Club Changes this term
· Year 6 Netball Club Cancelled on Tuesday 8th March due to Year 5 Netball Matches
· Year 4 and 3 Netball Club Cancelled on – Monday 21st March due to a tournament that afternoon
· Year 5 and 6 netball Club Cancelled on- Tuesday 22nd March due to The Infant Sports Festival
· Year 5 Gymnastics Club will not take place on Monday 21st March but will run its last session on Monday 28th February.
· Infant and Year 3 and 4 Swim Squad Cancelled on Tuesday 22nd March due to The Infant Sports Festival
There will be no before or after school sports clubs running in the last 3 days on term Monday 28th March- Wednesday 30th March, including after school football, infant and year 3 and 4 swim squad as well as tennis sessions with Ben Cullen.
