National Schools Biathlon 2022
On Sunday 20th March the Notre Dame girls return to Bath for the National Schools Final Biathlon, the girls taking part all qualified in January and it was wonderful to have them performing again and in the sunshine.
All the girls put in a great effort with their run and swim and there were our results,
- U10 Team Finished 2nd over all
- U12 Team finished 2nd over all
- U13 Team finished 2nd over all
Well done to Holly H who placed 4th individually in the U10 age group and also a well done to Alessia who was our only Year 3 to take part in the event.
Nearly all the girls improved on their qualifying time from back in January, which is just fantastic for each girl!
A fantastic day had by all and we are looking forward to 2023 already!
Cross Country
ND Cross Country Event
Thank you to St Teresas, Milbourne Locge and Danes Hill for a wonderful afternoon of Yr1-4 XC with some of our youngest sports boys and girls! Very well done to all children who represented their school and for achieving personal bests! Can’t wait for next year!
U9 and U11 Danes Hill Cross Country
On Tuesday 22nd March the U9 and U11 teams visited Danes Hill for their annual XC event, which hasn’t been run for 3 years, so it was great to be back. The course at Danes Hill is always very challenging with its many hills.
The ND girls however put in great performances and with Emily L finishing 4th in her over all race and the U11 girls placing 3rd as a team. Well done also to the senior school who also finished 3rd as a team!
Netball
U10A-D Netball Tournament@ St Catherine’s
On Monday 21st March the U10 A-D teams attended the St Catherine’s Netball tournament. All the teams playing in separate tournaments against other schools across the afternoon. The ND girls played wonderful netball, consolidating their learning in this final netball event of the year. Results;

- B team 3rd Place
- A team 1st Place
Well done to all the girls who represented the school and wonderful to all come home with a medal.
Reception and Year 1 Sports Festival
Tuesday afternoon we welcomes over 160 boys and girls to Notre Dame for our annual sports festival. This gave boys and girls in Reception and Year 1 an opportunity to try a variety of different sports and skills, meeting new people and having the experience of traveling away or hosting an event. The girls and boys from FF, GHS and of course out ND girls were an absolute pleasure to host and a fun afternoon was had by all.
Thank-you to all those members of staff who helped run an activity from all the schools and the fabulous Year 6 girls who helped on their activities!
Football
Well done to our U11 Football teams who had a wonderful time playing against St Teresa’s and Rowan this week.
Well done to the A team who won both their games and the B and C teams who won 1 and lost 1.
