Prep Athletics Club
This week the girls were working hard on their long jump. We were really impressed with these Year 3 and 4 girls who had only just started this event this term. We clearly have some natural jumpers!

U8 Cricket v Downsend
On Friday afternoon, Our U8 and U9 girls played their first match against Downsend, in what was a beautiful afternoon for cricket. The girls showed off some fantastic batting and bowling skills as well as developing their understanding of the game.

U9 Cricket v St Georges Junior School
On Monday St Georges visited ND for the Year 4 girl’s first cricket match. It was wonderful to see so many of the girls enjoying and playing cricket. We lost 1 match and drew the other. We have plenty of work on and develop their skills as well as many more matches to enjoy between now and the end of term.
Tennis
U8 ERPSSA Tennis
On Tuesday a team of 4 tennis players from year 3 took part in the Elmbridge Tennis Festival at Walton Tennis club. The team was made up of Dorthe, Jamie, Mariam and Josephine. Each player played 7 singles matches across the afternoon. It was wonderful to see the girls enjoying their tennis and to see success with fantastic points being won. Over all the ND team finished as runners up! We are so proud of the girls of their skills but also their sportsmanship they showed. By finishing as runners up we have also won 4hours coaching, which we will look to book in, in June.
