Year 9 Library Project – Women in the Edwardian Era
This term, we have been introducing Edwardian Library Projects to Year 9. The focus of the project is to research specific timelines which will assist with the understanding of An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley. The play was written in 1945, however it was set in 1912.
The tasks set focus on the social and historical context and an understanding of what life would have been like during the Edwardian era. Other areas of investigation include:
• Social Class
• Education
• Technology
