Alice’s team, West London Penguin beat rivals Worthing in a convincing victory (11-5) on Saturday to secure a Grand Final match against Manchester on Sunday.
Despite digging deep and fighting hard against the more experienced team, the girls narrowly lost 10-8 to finish with the Silver medal.
An amazing achievement!
Although disappointed not to have won Gold, Alice is really proud of the team and the opportunity to play at such a high level, infront of a stadium crowd.
Congratulations Alice!

Netball
Year 10 are heading to the Surrey Sports Park this Saturday, 27 April to take part in a netball coaching session to be delivered by Surrey Storm players on the main show court at the venue, a unique opportunity for our pupils. Following dinner, we will be watching Surrey Storm take on Manchester Thunder at 6pm – it should be a fantastic day of netball!
We have also noted that Surrey Storm are collecting donations of bags of kindness to donate to people battling cancer.
