Congratulations to Sophie C who won her class in the NSEA November pop up dressage Prelim series last weekend.
Sophie was very pleased with the result and proud to be representing Notre Dame at a national level. She was competing in a huge field of 57 competitors from all over the country, including riders from schools such as Millfield, Cheltenham Ladies, Tunbridge Wells, Woodbridge, Queen Mary’s, North Yorkshire, Bedford Modern, Pipers Corner.
On Wednesday 11 December, our U13 A – D netball teams played against Epsom College, an extremely strong netball school.
Whilst all the 4 fixtures were won by Epsom College, this was by far the toughest challenge Notre Dame netball teams have faced this year with all the teams taking some positives from the matches ready to put in to place for the new Spring Term.
The opposition voted the following players Most Valuable Players:

I am very grateful that Notre Dame School has offered complimentary use of our Sports Hall here at School to theU17 Republic of Ireland netball squad as we prepare for the Europe Championships in Belfast from 5 – 9 March 2025. It means we have been able to offer a Senior Squad the chance to play against the ROI in a friendly fixture on 5 January which will be lead by Ellie D, Captain and Freya S, Vice Captain.
This is a great opportunity for our team to play against an international side and test themselves in what will be a very competitive match. Players have been selected from Years 10 – 13 to represent Notre Dame. Photos and match report in the New Year!!
The fixture focus moves to netball in the new term so please remember to always review SOCS and the team sheets every week which will be posted by the Friday of the week before at the very latest. All current fixtures for the term are up on SOCS but are of course subject to change due to adverse weather etc as well as additional matches that may get added as the term progresses. We are looking forward to all our teams getting as much netball as possible over the next 3 months and putting in practice what they have been learning in both Games and After-School Club sessions.
CRICKET CAMPS OVER CHRISTMAS
Rajasthan Royals Academy are holding Cricket Camps at Reed’s School (Sandy Lane, Cobham) on 16th, 17th, 18th + 19th December. These camps are 9.30am-3.00pm and for age 10 upwards. If you are interested in getting more details please email: admin@rajasthanroyalsacademy.co.uk
