Winter Sports Day
Year 9 and 10
On a freezing Monday morning, as the pitches were still frozen, Years 9 and 10 began their winter sports day with a revised programme of interhouse activities.
Year 7 and 8
The winter sun worked its magic so by the time Years 7 and 8 came out to compete, the hockey and netball programme was back on track. The doughnuts also went down well at the end of their session!
Sixth Form
The day finished with the Sixth form competitions in hockey and netball.
A HUGE thank you to our games staff who organised a successful day and adapted the activities so brilliantly!
Hockey
U18 v Reeds
The First team had a great competitive game against Reeds school on Wednesday evening coming out 3-2 victors. A brace of goals were scored by Miila and the third goal by Lily-Ella.

U14 v Kingston Grammar
The U14s had their first match of the spring term against Kingston Grammar School away at Surbiton Hockey Club this week. ND played well in all areas of the pitch and created some good opportunities but were denied by some fine goalkeeping from KGS. The final score was a 2-0 win for KGS but ND should be pleased with their performance ina very open and closely contested game. Player of the match was awarded to Freya S.

Cricket
Emma has made the U12 Surrey County Girls Cricket Squad.
She started her winter training this weekend – 2.5 hrs on a Saturday afternoon and is one of approx. 25 girls across the county to have been selected – a fantastic achievement and one that she has worked incredibly hard to achieve.
Photos in her new Surrey kit and walking up to the training centre in Guildford with a friend.
