Senior Sports Board July 1st

Sports Day 

It was fantastic to be able to host the Senior Sports Day at Guildford Spectrum again this year.

The atmosphere was fantastic, all the pupils and staff were in great spirits. Every Pupil was involved in at least 1 field event and 1 track event (with the majority doing more).

There were some amazing performances, and all the pupils gave there all but there were some notable performances by 4 pupils who managed to win 3 events on the day and so be awarded Victrix Ludorum:

Team Smith smashed it at the GCSC Mini Commonwealth Meet last weekend with lots of PBs:

Emily – 2 x Golds, 2 x Silvers and 1 x Bronze

Medals and PBs for Serena

Last week-end Serena G also achieved fantastic results at the GCSC open meet: Gold Medal in 200 Fly (2:45.57) with a 8.13 sec PB, plus PBs all around 19sec PB in 200 breast (3:14.05), 9.03 sec PB in 200 IM (2:42.26), 7.23sec PB in 200 free (2:22.24), …
