U15 A and B at St Teresa’s Tournament

It was a very competitive tournament for our U15 A and B teams this week, playing some of the strongest schools this year including Weydon. Both teams continued to compete throughout the 5 matches per group and whilst the results did not go our way, there were good performances against Tormead, and Howard, the former of which finished in 3rd place overall in the A group. Congratulations to Bella and Jemima who were named by their team mates as the MVP for the A and B teams respectively.

U13 A – D v St George’s

Notre Dame U13 netball teams were away at St George’s in Weybridge this week for another competitive set of matches. All four teams competed really well against a strong Netball school. There were some individual great performances across the four teams and of course that’s what makes a good overall team performance.

Lots to celebrate and more to look forward to next season.

U12 A – D v Epsom College

Our U12 A-D teams played a fixture away against Epsom College on Wednesday this week. All four teams had some passages of really positive play and there were some good points to celebrate as a school. Although the results didn’t go our way Notre Dame played really good competitive Netball, particularly for this age group.

U14 A – D v Howard of Effingham

On Wednesday after school the U14 A-D teams had matches against Howard of Effingham School. Although Howard were stronger in all four games, ND persevered in their efforts and kept working hard, with the B team in particular impressing in their 18-10 defeat. Players of the match in each game, as voted by Howard were as follows:

C team – Jemima J + Isabelle K

D team – Una T + Molly B

 

Netball Clubs

It is really important that those players in school wishing to improve their Netball consider joining a local netball club. Mrs Hook, Head of Netball, will be more than happy to help anybody who’s considering a club either for the rest of the season, perhaps some summer Netball, or indeed from September, please feel free to contact her on her usual email.
