Captain Tom’s 100 Challenge
It was lovely to hear and read about so many people across the country take part in the 100 Challenge over the Bank Holiday weekend which was set by Captain Sir Tom Moore’s family in his memory. The family themselves walked 100 laps of the driveway which Captain Tom himself had done during lockdown and raised so much money for the NHS. Amongst some of the celebrities taking part, Dame Mary Berry baked 100 cakes, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill did 100 pogo jumps, David Beckham did 100 keepy-uppies and Joe Root hit a cricket ball 100 times.
Congratulations to those from the Notre Dame community who took on the challenge.
Here’s a photo of Ciara S shooting 100 netball goals – donations to the MS Society
For my part I completed 121 miles of walking and cycling and donated money to the charity ‘MIND’. Here are some photos of the wonderful views along the way!
