Love was all around for Notre Dame alumnae this summer – former students Jenna Ridley and Daniella Humble tied the knot with their respective partners, and bridesmaids Hannah Humble and Sophie Bond both got engaged!
First to the altar was Daniella, who married Robert Hutton-Attenborough on June 8th at St. Mary’s Church, Oatlands, Weybridge. Danni was attended by two Notre Dame alumnae, her sister Hannah (2015) and friend Sophie Bond (2012) as well as Charlie Allen, a friend from university. Another alumna Olivia Hajialexandrou (2012) gave a reading in the Church and many former students and parents attended the wedding. Mum Susan (who works in the Prep school) reports that the sun shone and it was a wonderful happy day.

Seven weeks later, on July 27th, former Head Girl Jenna Ridley (Class of 2015) tied the knot with Matthew Henley at St Anne’s Catholic Church, Sutton Coldfield. Close friend Hannah Humble repeated her bridesmaid duties, and alumna Issy Stewart was also there to join the celebrations. The reception was held at Moxhull Hall and the happy couple – whose relationship began when they partnered each other at ballroom dancing competitions – performed a specially choreographed first dance to George Ezra’s ‘Hold My Girl’.

No sooner had the newlyweds departed on honeymoon than there was more wedding news for two of the bridesmaids – Sophie Bond and Hannah Humble, who both received marriage proposals on August 31st! Hannah’s boyfriend Jonny went down on one knee during a holiday in Borneo, while Sophie’s boyfriend Brandon popped the question against the dramatic background of Durdle Door on Dorset’s Jurassic coast. Hannah and Sophie both said yes, so there’ll be more wedding bells ringing soon!
We send our warmest congratulations to Danni, Jenna, Sophie and Hannah and their respective partners and wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
