In recognition of World Mental Health Day, the Prep School came together in a powerful show of support by wearing yellow ribbons in our hair. Throughout the day, we engaged in meaningful activities that helped us understand what mental health is and the importance of keeping our minds healthy.
We practised a variety of strategies to support our mental well-being, both at school and at home. From mindfulness exercises to discussing ways to manage uncomfortable feelings.
Most importantly, we reminded ourselves that mental health is something we should talk about every day—not just today. By encouraging open conversations, we aim to build a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable discussing their feelings and seeking help when needed.
