Year 7 started the week with their residential trip to Kent to enjoy a Bushcraft experience! Here are two reports written by Year 7 students:

On the 16th of September year 7’s went on an exciting adventure to Kent to a Bushcraft of experience. As soon as we got there, we did activities. First, we had to work together to make a fire which we later cooked burgers on. Next we made paracord bracelets, which can be untied to be used as string in emergencies. We also did whittling and made the wood into pencils. Next was dinner and we had pasta with tomato sauce and cheese.

The bushcraft trip was a fun and interactive experience. We took part in many activities including fire building, knife skills and even traps! (We got to trap our teachers). Bushcraft allowed everyone to show there creativity in many different ways. It helped from bonding friendships to learning something new.
