Are you a fan of relaxed, late-night jazz? If so, keep an eye out for future giggs at the Royal Albert Hall on where talented alumna Sophie Plummer often returns to perform her unique blend of jazz, blues and rock’n’roll.
Acclaimed as one of the most creative and exciting singers coming out of London, Sophie is a genre-bending, stage-strutting chameleon with proud Welsh heritage and performs many of her own compositions with her band. Her song ‘You Are The One’ is the title track for Apple TV’s newest hit series Liaison, and she features on Moses Boyd’s theme tune for AMC+ TV show Ragdoll.
Plumm’s live shows have created a buzz within the ever-growing London scene, with her varying arrangements, a full force eclectic rock/jazz band and an electronic duo – Plumm x skttrd – creating a buffet of live loops and drum machines that blur the line between DJ set and live improvisation. She’s also a regular at Glastonbury, returning this year both with her own band and the 11-strong Levitation Orchestra.
