Mirror Design Using Laser Cutter

Students have been planning for their mock exam.  The theme is ‘Natural Forms’ and Issy M K had a very clear vision of what she wanted to do.  Part of her design would be a ‘mirrored’ human heart.  Initially I told Issy it wasn’t possible to cut such a thing, until I remembered we had a brand new laser cutter!  We were able to order the mirrored plastic and Issy drew out what she required.  With the valued support of Mr Munt Issy was able to cut out the heart, ready for using in her exam in a couple of weeks!
