English Schools Swimming Championship Finals in Sheffield
Congratulations to the six girls who competed last Saturday in Sheffield.
On Saturday Notre Dame Prep School took part in the finals of the ESSA’s Swimming Championships in Sheffield.
The first round of the championships was the Surrey Regional round, from that we then qualified for the South East Division, and by finishing in the top 3 schools we were invited to the National Finals.
25 schools from England and Wales took part in the finals and our Medley Relay team finished in 12th Place and our Freestyle team finished 9th. I am so proud of the girls. Erin, Lexie, Lucy, Chloe, Francesca, and Lydia, it was so lovely to share the experience with them.
Many thanks to the parent for driving them to Sheffield to compete and thanks to Mrs Purgavie for coming with me.
