During the Summer Term, students in Years 7 and 8 are given set holiday reading. The titles are chosen by the English Department/Librarian and may differ from the usual choice/genre of books. The aim of the reading scheme is to encourage wider reading and promote the idea of reading for fun. We hope that the students enjoy whichever book they choose…

Spilling Ink is a new (non-fiction) addition to the Summer Reading List. As part of the book review we will be asking students to write a piece inspired by what they have learnt from the book… We can’t wait to read what they produce!
