The Prep joined thousands of schools taking part in Sky Arts ‘Access All Arts’ Week.
We celebrated in style with lots of activities from creating a new dance craze to wonderful stop motion Claymation movies.
Year 6 have been busy performing on stage and in Art they have been using nature to inspire their wonderful print designs. Year 5 have been Mark Making with natural forms before they start print making. Year 4 have been busy planning and creating their Claymation using iMotion. Year 3 and Year 4 have been creating a dance craze for a BBQ scene in New Adventures Edward Scissorhands. The girls really enjoyed it! In the Library girls have been creating a self-portrait and have been designing costumes from their favourite book. In Wellbeing Club the girls have been getting creative with nature. Even our Lead Grounds Keeper Mat Jones took fabulous photos of our beautiful grounds. This is just a flavour of the Arts and the work can be seen on Firefly:
