This year’s theme – Read Your Way!

The girls arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, some in groups & some as individuals. They all looked superb!
Well done Parents for getting them to school on time!
Our special World book Day Assembly was organised by Mrs Kewley (aka cake!) and her wonderful Chatterbooks Team!
The Chatterbooks girls started the assembly by reading the book – a Very Hungry Caterpillar. This was the Prep Staff theme and so, as each character was announced, staff members joined the cast, to the amusement of all the girls!
We took the opportunity to invite and thank our wonderful Parents that Listen to the children read.
Congratulations to the Winners for the Story in a Jar Competition (Children in Years 4,5,6 were challenged to create a story in a jar).
Congratulations to the Winners of the World Book Day Picture Competition.
(Children in Reception, Year 1,2, and 3 were invited to create a picture / collage based on their favourite book).
World Book Day Quiz – Congratulations to the girls who beat the staff team at the annual WBD Quiz 13-7!
What a great day we had!
Special Shout out to Theia R who dressed up as the book character Toothless and literally lost a tooth as she entered the Chapel for the WBD Assembly!
