Year 4 Stunning Starter – Africa

Year 4 are learning all about Amazing Africa this term!

We began our topic by dancing to Shakira’s Waka Waka song and then taking a trip with Sir David Attenborough to look at all the different animals that inhabit Africa. Making posters together about what we had seen, we then watched a presentation on African art, and as a collaborative piece of work, began making our African Art wall hanging, using bright African colours and bold, symmetrical patterns.

Our finished piece of African artwork will be displayed in the Year 4 corridor.
